Experience the thrill of fishing the famous Tuna Coast with a fully equipped Center Console or the traditional local Panga boat. With great value specialist tours for friends and families with little or no experience wanting to enjoy a fun day out on the ocean, To the more serious fishermen wanting to tick some Trophy fish off the bucket list we have it all covered. Our guides speak English and Spanish and our Panamanian Captains that have well over 15 years of experience fishing this area ,will be all to happy to fillet your catch for you at the at end of the day.

The Fishing

Our fishing grounds are in one of the most preserved areas of Panama where commercial fishing and netting is illegal. There is an amazing variety of Fish to be caught and unlike other high pressured fisheries overfishing is non existent in this pristine destination with very few Panga’s or Sport fishing boats in the water.

General fishing tours are done Trolling which is the easiest way to cover lots of ground searching for feeding fish.
Spinning , Jigging , Live Baiting and throwing Poppers are also very effective methods for fishermen that have experience and want to target certain fish .

Equipment

We are well equipped with Penn ,Shimano ,Daiwa Rods and Reels and all the terminal tackle needed for your trip.

Species of fish

Depending on the season we typically catch:

Hotel pick up can be arranged or the meeting point will be 10 minutes from Venao in the
town of Cañas . Puerto Cañas.

Turn Left out of Playa Venao towards Tonasi.
After about 10 minutes over the river bridge you will reach the town of Cañas.
Take your first left at Bus stop signposted Puerto Cañas.
Follow the road until the water.
